Get Rooted
This fall we're offering a series of Come-and-See events at Harbor House during our Get Rooted Campaign. Join us for one or more events as we Get Rooted in: Action, Connection, and Prayer! We're also running a month-long giving campaign to help us Get Rooted in Generosity as we raise $55,000 for our Educational Equity programs. See below for details about these events.
Action
On Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Get Rooted in Action at our Project Peace Day of Service. The Day of Service offers an opportunity to get your hands dirty by gardening, painting, cleaning, or organizing and making a big impact in our community. In addition to the service projects from 9:00 am - 11:30 am, there will be an optional Lunch and Learn from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm for those who can stay for a casual meal, tour of Harbor House, and discussion with some of our staff. Prayer
On Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Get Rooted in Prayer at our Mini Contemplative Retreat. Sponsored by the Fuller Center for Spiritual Formation and led by Pastor Ashly Nation, the retreat will offer space for contemplation, reflection, and prayer as we spend guided time drawing closer to God individually and in community. Connection
On Friday, November 15, 2024 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Get Rooted in Connection at our Garden Party Happy Hour. We'll enjoy drinks and heavy appetizers under the twinkling lights of our Prayer Garden. The happy hour will be a time to unwind after work, connect with new & old friends, and get inspired by learning about our high-impact education programs.
