Food Distribution

Harbor House has been a distribution site of the Alameda County Community Food Bank for many years.  This year, we are seeing the value of this essential service with an increase of 300% in people who came for food during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We distribute food every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month from 10:00-11:30 am outside in our parking lot.  Clients may quickly and safely receive fresh produce, bread, rice, beans, pasta and other pantry staples. Masks are required and everyone must stand six feet apart.

Need to sign up for food?

New clients without appointments are invited to come at 11:30am on any 2nd or 4th Tuesday of the month to sign up. On your first visit please bring your photo ID and proof of address (example: PG&E bill). You will be asked how many people are in your household for our reporting purposes. If you have questions, please call (510) 534-0165 and leave a message and someone will return your call.
