 Kacie Stratton, ExecutiveKacie Stratton, Executive Director Director

A former elementary and middle school speech-language pathologist, Kacie is passionate about developing leaders in under-resourced communities.  Kacie has a strong vision for coming alongside whole families and assisting them to achieve their full potential.  Kacie is the founder of The GreenHouse, a nonprofit organization in Sacramento where she served as Executive Director for ten years.  She joined the Harbor House team in September 2015 and is excited to be working with our beautifully diverse families, as well as our supportive donors, congregations, community partners, and staff.  She and her husband have three elementary-aged sons who daily keep them on their toes.


Guadalupe Del Toro, Community Store Manager

Lupe has been with Harbor House for over 35 years. As the Community Store Manager, she loves helping families find affordable clothing and household items.  Most people know that Lupe speaks fluent Spanish but they don’t know that Lupe would like to fly a plane!


Maria Del Toro, Family Services Assistant

Maria is our Family Services Assistant and Lupe’s  daughter.  She was once a child in the HH program and now loving serves our families and facility with her bright smile and dedicated work ethic.  Maria attended Laney College and would like to see all of her children (and those at HH!) get a college education. When she is able, Maria likes to volunteer with her children’s school to help the kids of Oakland flourish.

Tam Thi Ho, Family Services Coordinator

Tam is the Family Services Coordinator and has been with HH since 2010. Tam attended the Administrative College in Saigon, VietNam, and has an AA degree from Laney College. She enjoys working with the families at HH each week. She also enjoys soccer, ping pong and tennis.  Tam loves flowers and would like to have a garden full of them!


Kimberley Hutter, Office Manager

Kimberley began as HH office manager in February 2016 and ever since she has been getting to know the great kids and families connected to HH. Her daily schedule is as eclectic as our basement since she works to assist staff in their respective programs. She graduated with a B.S. in Biology, and Neuroscience from the University of California, Riverside and has since worked with several non-profit groups. Kimberley enjoys finding new ways to make things run better, being outdoors and eating good food.


Sharon Jan, Director of Elementary Programs

In August of 2016, Sharon joined the HH team where she puts her efforts toward designing an enriching, academic program for our elementary students. She values youth education and loves books, which draws her to the classroom. In 2014 she graduated from with a B.A. from Pomona College, moving to the Bay Area shortly after. Sharon is a creative cook and all around lover of food, a great gift if you want to brighten her day!



Alexis Pruitt, Assistant Youth Coordinator

Alexis began at HH as a student in the program and now works on our staff team! She helps lead and train interns working with youth and is the classroom lead for kindergarten and first graders. She is an excellent facilitator and key member of our team. Alexis enjoys helping people especially the youth at HH who are like one big family.
